Lanka E Doc and Apollo hospitals group India unveiled their novel telehealth service &clinical partnership during a grand ceremony at Hilton Colombo. This endeavor will encompass a wide range of clinical services, including telehealth, healthcare networking & health awareness. During the opening ceremony, the Minister of Education, Hon. Susil Premajayantha, extended his best wishes to Apollo Hospitals & Lanka E Doc for there collaborative effort. The keynote address was delivered by Hon. Harin Fernando, Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs and tourism & felicitation was offered by Hon. Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Minister of State.
Dr. Niluka Welikala, Director of Lanka E Doc and Chairperson of Serendib extended a cordial welcome to the dignitaries and underscored the critical nature of these collaborations in lite of the escalating disease burden and changing disease patterns. Dr. Niluka remarked that Lanka E Doc would span the entire length and breadth of Sri Lanka, establishing a health highway to serve the public and unite the medical community.

Dr. Revathy Raj, Head-Paediatric Haemato Oncology, Apollo Hospitals, presented a seminar on paediatric cancers and BMT. Mr. Premananda, Vice President, Apollo Tele Health Services, presented on tele health programs from India. Mr. Jithu Jose, Vice President-International Division of Apollo Hospitals and Dr. Niluka Welikala exchange the MOU. Hon.MP Dayasiri Jayasekara, Dr. Rev. Pannila Ananda Thero were also present.
The function stared with a video presentation of the services and tele health video showcasing Apollo’s capabilities in high end healthcare.
