The Department of Immigration and Emigration has taken steps to send a letter of advice to Chinese nationals at work sites that have issued residence visas.
The Controller General of Immigration and Emigration Mr. Pasan Ratnayake said that the Chinese nationals and employees who visited the country recently have been restricted to work sites and lodgings.
Also he said that all the instructions are being sent to relevant Chinese companies today and the aim is to ensure the safety of the general public.
